Yesterday I saw a news report from a refugee camp. People had walked for days through dry dust. By material standards, they did the impossible. They arrived.

One sign of Love’s presence in the midst of man’s extremity is the way families melded together when parents are lost. Children are, without hesitation, embraced by another family who has too little to share.

It was like watching orphaned children playing Elisha. They exacted little cakes from a widow mothers. Such reflected Love cannot carry consequences. Instead, it must bless those who trust the unseen, are grateful for the last visible expression of supply and share it.

Whatever the climate claims, man’s supply is not governed by claims of any stripe.
Science stands on this reality: “Thy kingdom come.”
To which man can only respond: “Thy kingdom is come, Thou art ever-present.”

To jump into a dream of drought is not useful. To control thought like Elijah and persistently look for the little cloud and see in the bud, the desert blooming as the rose is Principle. It destroys the lie and bears witness to Truth that sets free according to the Law of God.

Rain cannot disobey. Rain must come just as Life must express.

      Pressed “Submit” before finishing.

      ‘melded” should read “meld”

Both references are to Elijah as citations below below
      (1) Elijah – I Kings 17:1,7-16
      (2) “Thy kingdom come.” – Matthew 6:10 and Luke 11:2
      (3) “Thy kingdom is come, Thou art ever-present.” – Science and Health with Key to the Scripture by Mary Baker Eddy 16:31
      (4) Elijah – I Kings 18:1-2,41-46
      (5) “blooming as the rose” – Isaiah 35:1
