The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? — (Psalm 27: 1)

During Operation Desert Storm, I served on active duty as a chaplain. Late one afternoon, during active bombing, out of nowhere a violent storm could be seen coming across the desert headed directly towards our campsite. The sound of bombing was already disturbing enough and, now, here we sat, another chaplain and I, in the chaplain’s tent facing a storm. Read story»
