Writing on his Huffington Post blog in late-January, author and spiritual writer Richard Schiffman put it his way:

“If you want to achieve maximum health, here are a few things that you should do: exercise regularly, eat nutritious and minimally processed foods, drop those extra pounds — and pray.”

Apparently, the practice of praying for good health is quite widespread. The National Institutes of Health says that among all forms of “alternative medicine” in this country, the most common is to press the palms together and pray for a good result. Read story»
